Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the VoiceEmployee website, free live demo and paid AI receptionist service. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by VoiceEmployee, Leicester, United Kingdom ("VoiceEmployee", "we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@voiceemployee.com. Website: https://voiceemployee.com.
2. The service
VoiceEmployee offers:
- A free live demo that can create a temporary voice agent based on a public website URL or a sample agent
- A paid AI receptionist / call answering service billed through Stripe, typically starting with a 7-day trial as described on the website at the time of signup
Features, pricing and limits may change. Marketing pages describe the service in general terms; your checkout or account screens control what you purchase.
3. Eligibility
There is no minimum age requirement to browse the site or try the demo. The service is intended for business and professional use. If you use VoiceEmployee on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should only use the service with a parent or guardian's involvement.
You are responsible for complying with local laws in your country (including the UK and US). We may refuse or limit service where required by law or to protect the platform.
4. Free demo terms
- The demo is provided as-is on a best-effort basis for evaluation only.
- Do not use the demo to process sensitive, confidential or regulated information (including health data, payment card numbers, government IDs or trade secrets).
- Demo agents and knowledge bases are temporary and may be deleted when the demo ends or shortly afterward.
- We may throttle, queue, suspend or terminate demos to protect shared capacity or prevent abuse.
- Demo conversations may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or emergency advice.
5. Paid plans, trials and refunds
- Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You authorise us (and Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you select.
- Unless stated otherwise at checkout, new paid plans include a 7-day trial. Trial details (including what happens when the trial ends) are shown at signup.
- If you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 7 days of the relevant charge by emailing support@voiceemployee.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We may decline refunds that appear abusive or outside this window.
- There is no long-term paper contract required to start; these Terms and your checkout selection form the agreement for paid use.
- Prices may change for future billing periods; we will give reasonable notice where required.
- You remain responsible for taxes where applicable, unless Stripe or we collect them separately.
6. Accounts and user responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service
- Not bypass rate limits, security controls or payment requirements
- Not use the service to send spam, harassment, illegal content or content that infringes others' rights
- Obtain any consents required for call recording, outbound calling or processing personal data of your callers under laws that apply to you
- Keep login and payment credentials secure
7. AI outputs and your content
- AI responses can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them in a live business setting.
- You retain rights in content you submit (such as your website materials and prompts). You grant us a licence to process that content solely to provide the demo or paid service.
- You represent that you have the right to submit website URLs and business information for crawling and use in a demo or production agent.
- We do not claim ownership of your customer data. We do not use your content to train our own foundation AI models.
- Between you and VoiceEmployee, we own the platform, branding, software and documentation. You may not copy or resell them except as allowed by these Terms.
8. Phone numbers and telephony
Where the paid service includes phone numbers or call forwarding, numbers and calling features remain subject to carrier, LeadConnector/HighLevel and regulatory rules. You must not use numbers for unlawful robocalling or other prohibited telephony practices. We may reclaim or reassign numbers if your account is terminated or inactive, subject to applicable rules and any commitments we make on the site (for example about keeping your number during an active plan).
9. Our rights to suspend or change
We may:
- Modify features, capacity limits or the demo experience
- Suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, non-payment or legal risk
- Take down or refuse demos that threaten the shared platform or third parties
Where practical, we will give notice for material paid-plan changes. Immediate action may be needed for security or legal reasons.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the service you also acknowledge that policy.
11. Third-party services
The service depends on third parties (including HighLevel/LeadConnector, Stripe, Cloudflare and hosting providers). Their terms and availability affect the service. We are not responsible for outages or acts of those third parties beyond our reasonable control.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, DEMO AND PAID SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE DEMO WILL MATCH A PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENT.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VoiceEmployee AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED POUNDS STERLING (£100) IF YOU HAVE ONLY USED THE FREE DEMO.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify VoiceEmployee against claims arising from your content, your use of the service (including calls to your customers), or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
15. Termination
You may stop using the free demo at any time. You may cancel a paid subscription as described in your account or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless a refund is approved under Section 5. We may terminate or suspend accounts for breach or prolonged inactivity. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive termination.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in another country you may also have mandatory rights to bring claims in your local courts.
Before filing a claim, please email support@voiceemployee.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. If you continue using the service after an update, you accept the revised Terms. For material changes affecting paid plans, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
